Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) - Cardiothoracic Surgery - The Woodlands
EDUCATION
Required: Master's Degree in Nursing. May be waived for applicants who obtained recognition as an Advanced Practice Nurse from the Texas State Board of Nursing prior to 1/1/2003. Graduate education and related Texas Board of Nursing authorization must be consistent with clinical practice area and patient population.
Required: Written authorization from the Texas Board of Nursing (BON) to function as an Advanced Practice Nurse. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR), Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), training program has to be accredited by the American Heart Association
Preferred: Minimum of one (1) year Surgical and/ or Thoracic Oncology experience preferred.
