REQUIREMENTS
Education: Associates degree in Veterinary Technology.
Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in Biomedical or Animal Science.
Certification: Laboratory Animal Technician (LAT) certification by the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science within 180 days of hire or job change.
Preferred Certification: AALAS Laboratory Animal Technologist Certification.
Experience: Two years of animal care experience. With preferred degree, no experience. May substitute required education with equivalent experience on a one to one basis with one year of animal care experience in a lead capacity.
Preferred Experience: Experience gained in a university research setting.
