EDUCATION
Required: Bachelor's of Science in Nursing.
Preferred: Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
EXPERIENCE
Required: Three years of clinical nursing experience. Successful completion of the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center New Graduate Nurse Residency Program can be substituted for two of the three required years of clinical nursing experience.
Preferred: Two years of progressive supervisory experience.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
Required: Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
Preferred: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) or PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification as required by patient care area.
