Clinical Accreditation Specialist (Registered Nurse)
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Required: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
Preferred: Master's degree in healthcare related field or business.
License/Certification
Required:
Current State of Texas Professional Nursing License (RN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
Certified Professional in Health Care Quality (CPHQ)
Certified Joint Commission Professional or equivalent certification in safety, accreditation or regulatory.

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification as required by patient care area.
Experience
Required: Five years of nursing experience.
Preferred: Two years of Joint Commission and regulatory compliance (CMS and/or state) experience; ACOS Commission on Cancer Survey Experience.
