Coding Training Coordinator
Required: Five years of inpatient/outpatient coding to include two years of coding training experience or with preferred degree, three years of coding experience to include two years of coding training experience.
Required: Associate's degree in related field. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis.
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC).
Certified Outpatient Coder (COC) certification from (AAPC).
Certified Coding Specialist - Physician-based (CCS-P) from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).
Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).
Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).
Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).
