Education
Experience
Required: Three years of office experience in a medical staff services credentialing position with working knowledge of credentialing/recredentialing process.
Preferred: Five years of experience in a hospital setting, in a medical staff services credentialing position with working knowledge of the credentialing/recredentialing process, including privileging. Experience with Echo Credentialing Software, or proficiency with another credentialing software system. Ability to prioritize and work in a high volume, fast paced setting with rapidly changing priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Working knowledge of Power Point.
License/Certification
Required: None
Preferred: CPCS and/or CPMSM certification.
Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: Associates Degree or some college.
