MD Anderson has a Food Service Associate opening in The Woodlands. This position will cash out customers within the dining room areas and will be responsible for their designated area with restocking and cleaning. The hours for this position will vary and will have a rotating schedule with weekends/holidays, which will allow for a good work life balance. Full benefits package (Medical, vision, dental, Retirement Program and PTO/Vacation) will be offered with very competitive pay structure.



  • Computes cost of meals and deposits money into cash register and makes change.
  • Totals money received according to register count and verify total with cash on hand.
  • Counts and packages money.
  • Prepares reports of daily transactions and forward cash, receipts and other records to accounting section.
  • Create coffee orders as requested by customers
  • Exhibits good guest relations skills with patients, visitors, employees and managers.
  • May train new employees as assigned by management.
  • Keep area clean and restocked as needed.


  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year or more of relevant Cashier or Food Service experience.  
  • Ability to stand during entire shift scheduled.
  • Flexibility to work variety of shifts and locations.

Must possess a current Texas Food Handlers Certification at the time of hire or obtain one within 30 days of hire and maintain a current certification throughout employment in Food & Nutrition Services.
