Institute Associate Scientist III - Protein Science
Education
Required: Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Enzymology, Pharmacology, Chemistry or related field.
Preferred: Master's degree in a related field.
Experience
Required: Three years of relevant research experience in lab. With preferred degree, one year of required experience.
Preferred:
• One year of relevant research and in a biotech or industry-like environment.
• Experience in monoclonal antibody generation using different techniques of hybridoma, single B-cell cloning coupled with recombinant expression and high throughput screening.
• Experience in antibody engineering for various formats, such as bispecific antibody, antibody drug conjugates.
• Experience in antibody engineering using yeast or mammalian cell surface display.
• Biophysical and biochemical characterization with state of the art techniques such as mass spec.
• High throughput cell-based functional screening, antibody-antigen interaction analysis.
• Experience in molecular biology, protein engineering, purification and characterization with state of the art techniques
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
• Dedication, focus, quick learning abilities, and the ability to multitask.
