Provides patient care services as assigned by a registered nurse. Impacts patient comfort and outcome of care. 

 

This is a 32 bed Surgical Urology & Orthopedic unit for adult patient population. This fast paced environment has rapid turnover for surgical procedures which include: postoperative prostatectomy, cystectomy, penectomy, nephrectomy, and othropedic surgeries.

 

Ideal candidate will have three years of work experience; one year of direct patient care experience strongly preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Three years of work experience. May substitute additional education for required experience a one to one basis.

 

Shift: Evenings / Nights which will consist of 3pm – 11pm and 26 out of 52 weekends per year. 

Salary Range 
Minimum - $28,800 Midpoint - $36,000 Maximum - $43,200 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 
Acts as member of a multidisciplinary team that identifies and addresses patient care needs. Assists in completion of activities of daily living, mobilization, admit/discharge and obtaining vital signs. Updates and retrieves patient information. Ensures patient environment is maintained in a clean, safe and orderly manner. Acts as part of an assigned care team. 


High school diploma or equivalent. Three years of work experience. May substitute additional education for required experience a one to one basis. Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
