PET Technologist-Per Diem
Education: Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Level Degree
Certification: All of the following:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB). Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (TMB) as a Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT). Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
Preferred Certification: Additional certifications:
- ARRT
- NMTCB - PET
- ACLS
- PALS/ PEARS
Experience: None
Preferred Experience: Imaging experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at M.D. Anderson or other experience in a related discipline Graduate from an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology Program with one year of clinical experience.
