REQUIREMENTS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Education: Completion of a recognized apprenticeship.
Certification: All of the following: Licensed as a Journeyman Plumber in the State of Texas Medical Gas Piping Installation Endorsement by the State of Texas Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester (BPAT) issued by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
Preferred Certification: Licensed as a Master Plumber in the State of Texas; Industry-sponsored inspector certifications issued by the International Code Council (ICC) related to plumbing work.
Valid Class A, B or C Texas driver's license and eligible to drive State and institutional vehicles.
Experience: Six years post-journeyman level plumbing experience.
Preferred Experience: One year of related supervisory experience and/or minimum of one year experience with MD Anderson building systems specifications and Owners Design Guidelines
