Sr. Research Scientist - Ahmed Center Pancreatic Cancer Research

Education

Required: Ph.D. in one of the natural sciences or related field or Medical degree. 

Experience

Required: Three years of experience in experimental or scientific work.

Preferred: Five years of experience with extensive knowledge of molecular and cellular biology (both technical and theoretical knowledge in these areas is required): this includes RNA/DNA isolation and quantitative PCR techniques, protein isolation, immunoprecipitation, western-blot techniques, protein biochemistry including protein-protein interaction, GST fusion proteins, etc, cell viability and proliferation assays, application of flow cytometry for apoptosis, cell cycle analysis, advanced genome editing technologies including CRISPR/CAS9 and other mammalian cell approaches, lentiviral and adenoviral vector studies.
