Sr Software Systems Specialist (C#, .NET, VBA or ASP.NET)

EDUCATION

Required: Bachelor's degree.

EXPERIENCE

Required: Three years of experience with complex mainframe/database application programming or report writing experience. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis.

Preferred:

• Experience in implementing and supporting custom developed and commercial applications in a healthcare Lab and Research environment.
• Strong working knowledge of developing and maintaining applications written in C#, .NET, VBA or ASP.NET, including build and unit testing frameworks.
• Strong skills installing and configuring Windows software environments suitable for Clinical usage and clinical lab including VBA and Oracle.
• Extensive experience working with SQL and reporting tools.  Knowledge of relational databases as a backend data storage tier for applications.
• Knowledge of Release Management tools and adherence to versioning control.
