Ultrasound Technologist- Per Diem

REQUIREMENTS

Education: Graduation from an approved program of ultrasound technology or radiologic technology.

 Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Level Degree

Certification: Certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and certified in one of the following:
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) through American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or registry eligible.
Sonography (S) or Vascular Sonography (VS) through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

 Preferred Certification: ARDMS certified and/or ARRT Breast Sonography (BS) or ARRT and MQSA qualified

Experience: No experience required with graduation from an approved program of ultrasound technology less than 24 months ago or graduation from an approved program of radiologic technology and six months of experience as a registered radiologic technologist at MDACC.

Preferred Experience: Two or more years experience in the use of diagnostic ultrasound.
