The hours for this position are 8am-5pm.  The ideal candidate will have experience with Kronos, PeopleSoft, purchasing, and faculty support.       

 

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES


General Administrative Support for Hemovigilance Program Faculty and Section of Transfusion   

Duties will involve setting up meetings, maintaining competency files, heavy calendaring, arranging travel, mail distribution, Kronos, arranging teleconferences and conference calls, and processing reimbursements.


Faculty Support 

Duties include updating CVs, maintaining licenses, and processing journal subscriptions. Additional tasks related to academia and research are assisting with grants, submission of manuscripts, and protocol submissions.
Maintaining on-call schedules.

 

Purchasing. Monitoring, and Reconciliation of Funds
Monitoring and reconciliation of faculty development fund(s) to PRS.  Monitoring, reconciliation and tracking of all expenses for Transfusion Medicine.


Coordination of Onsite Visits from Regulatory Agencies   Coordinate logistics for announced and unannounced onsite visits from regulatory agencies including FDA, CMS, CAP, and AABB. 

High school diploma or equivalent. Four years of administrative/secretarial experience. With preferred degree, no experience required. Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
