The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston is one of the world's most respected centers focused on cancer patient care, research, education and prevention. The main objective of the Ambassador role is to ensure the utmost quality in patient / visitor experience as part of the institutional Welcome Initiative. This position is part of our comprehensive guest management and visitor access strategy and directly influences departmental functions and overall patient / visitor experience across the institution.
TMC location: 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM
Key Functions
Acknowledges and greets patients and visitors and performs health screening.
Accurately provides information and instruction, pertaining to all hospital campus to patients, visitors and staff.
Maintains a highly professional and positive attitude while dealing with customers and peers and performs multiple tasks as screener, greeter, information desk, in a fast-paced environment.
Other duties assigned
Experience Required: Two years of customer service experience responding to customer inquiries or related experience. Bachelor's degree can be substituted for required experience.

This position may be responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of critical infrastructure, as defined in Section 113.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code and therefore may require routine reviews and screening. The ability to satisfy and maintain all requirements necessary to ensure the continued security and integrity of such infrastructure is a condition of hire and continued employment.
