Applications Systems Analyst - Academic Analytics & Technology

The Applications Systems Analyst will provide support for the institutionally-approved Medical (and other Healthcare staff) credentialing system. This position will perform configuration changes according to MD Anderson policies and procedures; interact with the vendors to implement features and requirements; maintain documentation, security clearances, disaster recovery procedures, write custom data load scripts to import information into the credentialing system and interact with other systems, extract information from the credentialing system for reporting, writes custom SQL to manage data as necessary.
This position will also support department users by performing root-cause analysis, investigating errors, helping users from MS&CS utilize the credentialing application to its fullest. The Applications Systems Analyst will be responsible for maintaining servers to include patching and configuration of Microsoft Windows Server systems hosting the application.
JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
Education
Required: Bachelor's degree.
Experience
Required: Two years experience in Epic software, domain, analysis, design, project management, or programming. May substitute require education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis.
