Assistant Director Development - Peer to Peer Fundraising

Required: Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, or related field.

Required: Two years of experience in development operations, fundraising, marketing, advertising, public relations or patient advocacy. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis.

Preferred: Event Planning Experience: Three years of experience working directly on peer-to-peer and/or DIY style fundraising. Tech Savvy:  Must have experience using a variety of communication channels including email, social media, mobile technologies to drive event registration and fundraising.  Proficient with Microsoft Office (Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.) Experienced with Event Registration & Fundraising Software is preferred (TeamRaiser, Friends Asking Friends, Active.com, Boundless Fundraising, etc.) Flexible:  Must thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.  Available to work extended and flexible hours including weekends and occasional travel.
