Associate Director, Planned Giving

EDUCATION

Required: Bachelor's degree.

EXPERIENCE

Required: Five years direct fundraising experience. 

Preferred: Six or more years of professional experience in portfolio-based fundraising with experience securing six figure major gifts. Verifiable record of accomplishment of $5 million + in personally attributable charitable gifts closed. Demonstrated experience working with faculty, executive leadership teams, senior campaign/board members and fellow development professionals to execute fundraising strategies.  Experience in healthcare or higher education fundraising. Membership in the Planned Giving Council of Houston, Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), The Association of Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) or the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). Willingness to travel as well as work some nights and weekends.
