Associate Grants & Contracts Analyst -Grants & Contracts Office (G&C),

Experience

Required:

• Excellent analytical skills (e.g. ability to accurately analyze multiple data sets)

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage deadlines

• Effective written and oral communication skills (e.g. ability to communicate with others in a clear and professional manner)

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills (e.g. ability to work with personnel at all levels to gather information and communicate compliance requirements)

• Strong proficiency in financial analytical tools, such as Microsoft Excel

Preferred:

• Professional experience in research administration or related area (1-2 years)

• Administrative/business experience in an academic medical center research setting

• Experience using financial accounting systems or fund accounting systems;

• PeopleSoft ERP and Grants Module preferred

Education

Required: BA or BS from an accredited college or university. Bachelor’s degree. May substitute required experience with additional years of education on a one to one year basis.

License/Certification 

Required: None.
