Certified Ophthalmic Assistant

EDUCATION:
Required: High school diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:
Required: Two years related experience.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
Required: All of the following:
- Certification as an Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) from the Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
