- Ten years of experience in an academic healthcare environment to include at least five years of experience in a formal or informal leadership role.
- An earned terminal degree from an accredited institution and a record of academic excellence. MD/DO/PhD.
- A strong understanding of the workings of a complex academic healthcare system, to include knowledge and experience concerning current “best practices” in healthcare, skillful resource allocation, and familiarity with the business operations of other successful large comprehensive academic organizations.
- Demonstrated leadership accomplishments and administrative abilities.
- Strong operational and financial acumen with the ability to lead and partner around a vision for outstanding healthcare delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to lead by influence and example and have a strong commitment to excellence in leadership and professionalism.
