- Ten years of experience in an academic healthcare environment to include experience in a formal or informal physician leadership role.
- MD/DO with applicable board certification.
- A record of successful multidisciplinary collaboration to reach shared institutional goals.
- A strong understanding of the workings of a complex academic healthcare system, to include knowledge and experience concerning current “best practices” in healthcare, skillful resource allocation, and familiarity with the business operations of other successful large comprehensive organizations.
- Demonstrated leadership accomplishments and administrative abilities.
- Strong operational and financial acumen with the ability to lead and partner around a vision for outstanding healthcare delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to lead by influence and example and have a strong commitment to excellence in the care experience from a quality and service.
- Knowledge of healthcare systems, medical quality assurance, quality improvement and risk management.
