REQUIREMENTS
Education
Required: Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
Experience
Required: Five years registered nursing experience.
Preferred: Five years of clinical nursing experience to include two years of staff development or formal clinical education.
Licensure/Certification
Required: All of the following: Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license (RN) American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS).
Preferred: Any of the following: Board certified (RN-BC) in Professional Development by the American Credentialing Center. Certified as an Oncology certified Nurse (OCN) by the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation.
