Clinical Nurse - P10 GI Surgical / Sarcoma - Nights
EDUCATION:
Required: Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Required: All clinical nurses with less than one year registered nurse (RN) work experience will be required to participate in the Clinical Nurse Residency Program. Foreign trained nurses who have not practiced nursing as an RN in the United States for at least one year will also be required to participate in the Clinical Nurse Residency Program.
Preferred: At least one year of recent RN experience in medical/surgical or telemetry setting.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
Required: Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
Preferred: Certification in oncology or specialty practice area. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification as required by patient care area.
