Clinical Nurse - Transition Post Anesthesia Unit
Clinical Nurse – PreOp/PACU/TPACU (Night Shift)
Location: MD Anderson Cancer Center
Schedule Options:
-
(4) 10-hour shifts: 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM
-
OR (2) 8-hour shifts and (2) 12-hour shifts
Unit Rotation: PreOp, PACU, and TPACU
Ideal Candidate:
-
Current RN licensure required.
-
Preferred: Clinical Nurse with 5+ years of Critical Care, PACU, or PreOp experience.
-
Comfortable rotating between PreOp, PACU, and TPACU settings.
-
Demonstrates strong critical thinking, flexibility, and team collaboration on night shifts.

Education:
Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.
Experience:
Preferred: one year of Registered Nurse experience
Licensure/Certification:
Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license (RN). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification if working in the following department: Nrsg Post Anesthesia Care Unit (600160).
