Clinical Pharmacist
EDUCATION:
Required: Pharm.D. degree or employees who meet the following conditions are not required to have a Pharm D. Degree:
- Actively employed as a Pharmacy Practitioner prior to October 1, 2006; a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy, at least two years of hospital pharmacy practice experience and completion of the Pharmacy Practitioner program
- Post Graduate Year 1 (Pharmacy Practice) or equivalent clinical experience OR completion of the MDACC practitioner training program and three years experience as a staff pharmacist at MDACC.
Preferred: Current participation in the Pharmacy Residency Program at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
Required: Eligible to receive a license to practice pharmacy in the State of Texas by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
