Education

           

Required:    Pharm.D. degree

 

 

License/Certification

           

Required: Current license to practice Pharmacy with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy or eligible to receive a license to practice pharmacy in the State of Texas by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. Must obtain a Texas Pharmacist license by the 121st date of employment.

           

Preferred:    Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties (BPS) certification in appropriate specialty area and Pharmacy Preceptor Certificate.

 

 

Experience

           

Required:    PGY1 Pharmacy Residency and PGY2 Pharmacy Residency in the area of specialization or equivalent experience.
