EDUCATION
Required: Master's degree in Education.
CERTIFICATION
Required: Teaching certification in Education.
Preferred: Special Education EC-12 (161) and/or English as a Second Language (154)
EXPERIENCE
Required: Three years teaching experience to include experience in interpreting neuropsychological test batteries.
Preferred: Certified educator experience working with, and leading Early Childhood Education program initiatives. Working knowledge of federal, state and local special and regular education laws and programming. Five years teaching experience. Experience in implementation of Individualized Education Plans, 504 Accommodation Plans and strategies for English Language Learners. Experience using academic student data to drive classroom decision making. Experience building positive school culture and climate with stakeholder participation.
