Work Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday, 9am-5:30pm, with flexibility to cover other shifts based on department need. 

SUMMARY 

Provides customer service by communicating and coordinating information about personnel, material, and time to accomplish facility maintenance and project work on a priority basis

 

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES

Service Center Duties 

Accepts requests from clients calling 3-5000 or e-mail the 3-5000 mail box. Process work requests through Mainsaver or TMS. Informs appropriate craftsman/housekeeper accordingly. Adjusts temperature to patient rooms when required. 

Answers, expedites, coordinates, tracks, and communicates work orders for the removal of hallway obstructions, building maintenance, housekeeping request and equipment inspection for the main hospital and the offsite properties incoming calls directed to the 3-5000 call center system. 
Disseminates the request to the appropriate craftsman or housekeeper to follow through within 24 to 48 hours. Creates detailed Dispatch work tickets for record keeping using MainSaver Data Entry Standards. 
Coordinates, monitors, and expedites the work order backlog from the 3-5000 In-box and Patient Care Facilities In-box which includes requests generated by the Zone Inspection Program rounds. Creates detailed Main Saver Data Entry and record keeping using MainSaver Data Entry Standards. 
Other duties as assigned.

Associate's degree. Four years general business and administrative experience, to include one year of experience in retail or ecommerce. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis. Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
