QUALIFICATONS
Education
Required: In accordance with current levels of education for commissioned police officers of the University of Texas System as adopted by the Board of Regents.
Experience
Required: Ten years of experience as a commissioned peace officer, with six years as an investigator or detective.
License/Certification
All of the following are required:
- Commissioned/licensed peace officer for the State of Texas within 180 days of entry into job.
- Possess an advanced certificate from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education.
- Valid Class C Texas driver's license.
