Required: Bachelor’s degree. Currently licensed as a RHIA, CPHIMS, or CPC.
Preferred: Master’s degree in finance, business administration, or a health information management related field. Currently licensed as a CCS, CCDS, or CDIP.
Experience
Required: 10 years of management experience in finance, accounting, health information management or related fields; knowledge of large scale clinical revenue coding operations and clinical implications, information systems, analytical and planning skills.
Preferred: 15 years of prior experience of successfully managing inpatient, outpatient, hospital and professional coding. Epic Care and Resolute 2016+ user / super user. 3M Encoder, Optum or Nuance computer assisted coding software experience.
