QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Required: Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.
Preferred: Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing.
Experience
Required: A minimum of one year RN experience.
Preferred: Prior Oncology experience.
Licensure/Certification
Required: Current State of Texas professional nursing license (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
Preferred: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification if working in the following department: Nrsg Post Anesthesia Care Unit (600160).
Foreign trained nurses who have not practiced nursing as an RN in the United States for at least one year will also be required to participate in the Clinical Nurse Residency Program.
