Experienced Clinical Nurse / Nursing P9 - Surgical Urology & Orthopedics
EDUCATION:
Required: Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
EXPERIENCE:
Required: All clinical nurses with less than one year of registered nurse (RN) work experience will be required to participate in the Clinical Nurse Residency Program. This position is not eligible for the residency program.
Preferred: At least twelve months of recent RN experience in medical/surgical or an acute care setting.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
Required: Current Registered Nurse license (RN) & American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
Preferred: Certification in oncology or other nursing specialty. ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification as required by patient care area.
