Experienced Clinical Nurse - Pediatrics - Child & Adolescent Center (9a-7:30p)

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (MD Anderson) and TC announced a new collaboration on February 19, 2025.  The collaborative operations and patient care are anticipated to launch in early 2026. This advertised position is within the scope of the new collaboration and will not continue at MD Anderson beyond 12/31/25.  Opportunity to continue in this role at TC may be offered by TC. Candidates will have the option to discuss the impact of the collaboration with Human Resources professionals. 

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree and two years of recent inpatient nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics or oncology.

This position is primarily working in the Pediatric Ambulatory Treatment Center.  Shift is Monday - Friday (with a day off during the week) / 9:00am - 7:30pm (10 hour shifts).  On-Call for some weekends and holidays.

Summary:
The Clinical Nurse will be responsible for providing care to pediatric and AYA (adolescent and young adults) hematology/oncology patients. This will include administering chemotherapy, blood products and immunotherapies.
