Experienced Clinical Nurse - Rehabilitation & Neurosurgery

EDUCATION:
Required:  Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.

Preferred:  Bachelor's degree in nursing.

WORK EXPERIENCE:
Required:  All clinical nurses with less than one year of registered nurse (RN) work experience will be required to participate in the Clinical Nurse Residency Program. This position is not eligible for the residency program.

Preferred:  Must have at least one year of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:  Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license (RN) and American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

Preferred:  OCN - Oncology Nurse Certification or certification in specialty practice area.
