Job Summary
Provides customer service to individuals needing Human Resources assistance. Acts as a liaison with designated HR Centers of Excellence and MD Anderson employees to support their transactional personnel functions and other duties as assigned, which include but are not limited to correcting HRIS State Comptroller errors, processing Kronos payroll corrections, entering new hire data, contingent worker vetting, creating identification badges, processing tuition and parking reimbursements, disciplinary actions, unemployment claims, etc.
Essential Functions
Badging Operations & HR Reception Desk Rotation - Assists as needed with creating ID badges for all MDA workforce members and visitors using the institutional badging software. Rotates with HR front desk receptionist to cover for breaks. Assists HR clients and visitor walk-ins with questions and resolutions regarding general HRrelated questions. Validates parking, sorts mail, receives and distributes packages.
New Hire Processing - Ensures that all classified and admin new hire files are integrated successfully into the HCM system via the interface. Makes manual updates as needed to new hire records to ensure accuracy. Creates CWR/POI records as needed. Processes applicable additional pay and credential updates for new hires/rehires.
Kronos Support - Provides frontline support and expertise for all non-technical UKG Dimensions (Kronos) related issues. Processes electronic Kronos Correction Requests (eKCRs) that are submitted to HR for retroactive payroll payments, accrual balance adjustments, etc. Manages the Kronos Security email inbox.
Electronic Personnel Action Form (ePAF) - Processes personnel action requests forms in the HCM system for actions that include terminations, additional pay actions, status changes, etc. Co-leads institutional ePAF training and maintains the ePAF Personnel Actions inbox.
Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) - Provides frontline assistance for all inquiries related to the institutional TAP program. Responds to TAP emails, processes calculations for reimbursements, and reviews and approves applications.
HRIS State Comptroller - Corrects errors that appears on the monthly and annual HRIS State Comptroller report for all classified/admin workforce members.
Other Personnel Updates - Processes all classified/admin disciplinary actions, parking reimbursements, education/license updates, unemployment claims, Oracle Cloud updates, etc. Required for All Jobs • Performs other duties as assigned. • Complies with all policies and standards.
Education Required - High school diploma or equivalent.
Education Preferred - Bachelor's Degree
Experience Required - Five years of human resources, administrative, call center or clerical experience. May substitute preferred education for experience on a one to one basis.
Other - Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
This position may be responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of critical infrastructure, as defined in Section 113.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code and therefore may require routine reviews and screening.
