Education
Required: Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Enzymology, Pharmacology, Chemistry or related field.
Preferred:Master’s degree in a related field Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Enzymology, Pharmacology, Chemistry or related field
Experience
Required: Eighteen months of relevant research laboratory experience. With preferred degree, no required experience.
Preferred: Prior experience with bacterial, insect cell, or mammalian expression systems, as well as delivering crystallography-grade protein. Experience with cloning, protein crystallization, and running biophysical assays is valuable, but not necessary. Some understanding of the drug discovery process would be beneficial. Demonstrated team player who possesses excellent problem solving and communication skills.
