Institute Associate Scientist III, Protein Science
EDUCAITON:
Required: Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Enzymology, Pharmacology, Chemistry or related field.
Preferred: Master's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Enzymology, Pharmacology, Chemistry or related field.
EXPERIENCE:
Required: Three years of relevant research experience in lab. With preferred degree, one year of required experience.
Preferred: At least five years of research experience in production of expressing recombinant proteins from E. coli, insect cell, or mammalian cell systems. Experience with FPLC-based protein purification instruments and a range of chromatographic methods (affinity, ion exchange, HIC, SEC etc.). Excellent communication, writing and organizational skills. Experience in the pharma or biotech industry.
