REQUIREMENTS
 
Education: Bachelor’s degree in one of the basic sciences or related field.
 
Preferred Education:Master’s Level Degree
 
Certification: None
 
Preferred Certification: One or more of the following:
Certified Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) by American Society of Clinical Pathologist (ASCP)
-Certified Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) by National Certifying Agency (NCA)
-Certified Cytogenetics Technologist (CT) by National Certifying Agency (NCA)
-HLA Certified Histocompatability Technologist (CHT) by American Society for Histocompatability and Immunogenetics (ASH).
Experience: Seven years experience in laboratory operations to include two years in a supervisory capacity.

Preferred Experience:
Strong generalist background in various laboratory operations, e.g. clinical chemistry, hematology, and microbiology.
