Lead Services Coordinator - West Houston
The primary purpose of the Lead Services Coordinator position is to provide and coordinate all tasks associated with patient services across all Houston Area Locations including, but not limited to, patients scheduling, physician and clinic template maintenance, and processing the accurate completion of all charge capture activities. Monitor, train, evaluate, and coach/mentor Patient Service Coordinators in all Houston Area Locations. This position will require extensive travel in the Houston region on a daily and weekly basis.
KEY FUNCTIONS
Demonstrates accuracy and competency in the interpretation and coordination of physician orders to schedule diagnostic tests, procedures, treatments, and physician appointments.
Clearly and accurately communicate appointment information to the patients in a timely manner in person, by telephone, computer, or in writing
Use effective customer service skills to meet the needs of patient family and staff
Provide day to day management of PSCs in all Houston Area Locations.
Develop best practices in scheduling processes.
Ensures consistence scheduling methodologies are implemented across all Houston Area Locations.

EDUCATION
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred degree:
Associate's degree.
EXPERIENCE
Required:
Five years of relevant work experience.
Three years of required experience with preferred degree.
May substitute additional education for required experience on a one-to-one basis.
