Mammography Tech / Woodlands

REQUIREMENTS


Education Required: Graduate of an accredited Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) program. 
Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Level Degree



Certification: All of the following:

Registry in Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R).
and
Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) through the Texas Medical Board (TMB).
and 
Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.

Note:  Advanced Registry in Mammography (ARRT) (M) within 180 days of entry into the job.

Preferred Certification: Advanced Registry in Mammography ((ARRT) (M).


Experience Required: None.
Preferred Experience: Two or more years of experience as a qualified MammographyTechnologist. Holds Advanced Registry in Mammography.
