Education
Bachelor's degree

Experience
Five years experience of hospital based sterile processing to include two years of supervisory experience. Successful completion of the LEADing Self Accelerate program may substitute for one year of required supervisory or management experience. May substitute required degree with additional years of experience.

One of the following: Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) by the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA). Certified Endoscope Re-processor (CER) by the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA). Certified Flexible Endoscope Re-processor (CFER) by the Certification Board of Sterile Processing and Distribution, Inc. (CBSPD). Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS) by the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA). Certified Healthcare Leadership (CHL) by the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA). Certified Sterile Processing Distribution Technician (CSPDT) by the Certification Board of Sterile Processing and Distribution, Inc. (CBSPD). Certified Sterile Processing Management (CSPM) by the Certification Board of Sterile Processing and Distribution, Inc. (CBSPD). Certified Surgical Instrument Specialist (CSIS) by the Certification Board of Sterile Processing and Distribution, Inc. (CBSPD). Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
