Medicine Department Administrator - Psychiatry
EDUCATION
Required: Bachelor's degree in business, Hospital/Healthcare Administration or related field.
Preferred: Master’s degree in business, Hospital/Healthcare Administration or related field.
EXPERIENCE
Required: Seven years of progressive and responsible health care or business management experience. Successful completion of the LEADing Self Accelerate program may substitute for one year of required supervisory or management experience.
Preferred: Clinical and academic background preferred. Ability to partner and collaborate with faculty and institutional leadership, which will require a high performer with exceptional communication skills. A proven track record executing initiatives effectively, consistently meeting and surpassing operational goals, offering innovative ideas, and demonstrating strong delegation skills. Also, experience coordinating human resources activities (hiring, onboarding, promotions, etc.) and people management is a must. Strong leader interested in developing staff through guidance and mentorship. Background in psychiatry is a plus.
OTHER
Required: Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
