Nuclear Pharmacy Technician
Required education: Associate's degree in a science-related field of study. Completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program.
Preferred education: Completion of a 40 hour ACPE accredited sterile preparation course and current continuing education requirements.
Required Experience: One year of experience coordinating inventories and maintaining a laboratory or compounding facility. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one-to-one basis.
Preferred experience: Experience with radiopharmaceutical compounding.
Required certification: Current and active Pharmacy Technician Registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP).
Preferred certification: American Society of Health-System Pharmacist accreditation for compounding of sterile preparations
