Patient Access Specialist - Proton Therapy Center
o Accruals for PTO and Extended Illness Bank, plus paid holidays, wellness, childcare, and other leave options.

o Provide financial counseling including cost estimates, payment plans, and assistance options
o Collect and verify financial data during patient intake and registration
o Obtain insurance information, verify benefits, and secure authorizations
o Ensure compliance with required forms and consents
o Utilize medical overrides and account reviews when appropriate
o Support patients in understanding financial responsibilities and available resources
o Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records
o Comply with institutional policies and standards
o Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION
- Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Preferred: Associate's Degree Business, healthcare or related field.
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Required: Three years Experience in healthcare, insurance or related field. or
- Required: One year Required experience with preferred degree.
- Preferred: Five years Business experience in healthcare, insurance, or a multi-specialty physician practice.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Preferred: CHAA - Cert Healthcare Access Assoc National Association of Healthcare Access Management. Upon Hire or
- Preferred: CHAM - Cert Healthcare Access Mgr National Association of Healthcare Access Management. Upon Hire
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
