Patient Care Technician ( Nursing Assistant) - G10E Gynecologic/Radiation Unit (7pm-7am)

The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent and preferably at least one year of recent experience working in direct patient care. Must be able to work 3 X 12 hour shifts: 7pm-7am including rotating weekends and holidays.
Summary
Provides patient care services as assigned by a registered nurse.
Scope
Impacts patient comfort and outcome of care.
Essential Job Functions
Acts as member of a multidisciplinary team that identifies and addresses patient care needs. Assists in completion of activities of daily living, mobilization, admit/discharge and obtaining vital signs. Updates and retrieves patient information. Ensures patient environment is maintained in a clean, safe and orderly manner. Acts as part of an assigned care team.
Other duties as assigned.
Education
Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
Preferred: Experience in an acute care setting as a Nursing Assistant.
Licensure/Certification
Preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
Other
