The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent and preferably at least one year of recent experience working in direct patient care.  Must be able to work 7pm to 7am and 11pm to 7am including rotating weekends and holidays. 

Summary
Provides patient care services as assigned by a registered nurse.

Scope
Impacts patient comfort and outcome of care.

Essential Job Functions
Acts as member of a multidisciplinary team that identifies and addresses patient care needs. Assists in completion of activities of daily living, mobilization, admit/discharge and obtaining vital signs. Updates and retrieves patient information. Ensures patient environment is maintained in a clean, safe and orderly manner. Acts as part of an assigned care team.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS 

Education
Required: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience
Preferred: Experience in an acute care setting as a Nursing Assistant.

Licensure/Certification
Preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

Other
Required: Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
