Per Diem Advanced Practice Provider - Clinical Cancer Prevention

EDUCATION

• Required: Degree requirements as defined by the Texas Board of Nursing (BON) or Texas State Board of Physician Assistant Examiners (TSBPAE) as required for clinical licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant.

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Required: 2 years Clinical experience as an advanced practice provider.
• Preferred: Experience in primary care doing clinical breast exams, pap tests, prostate exams. 

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

• Required: Written authorization from the Texas Board of Nursing (BON) or Texas State Board of Physician Assistant Examiners (TSBPAE). Upon Hire

• Required: AGPCNP - Adult-Gero Primary Care NP Upon Hire or
• Required: AGNP - Adult/Gerontology NP Upon Hire or
• Required: ACPNP - Acute Care Pediatric Nurs Prac Upon Hire or
• Required: ANP - Adult Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire or
• Required: FNP - Family Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire or
• Required: GNP - Gerontological Nurse Prac Upon Hire or
• Required: PNP - Pediatric Nurse Practit Upon Hire or
• Required: PMHNP - Psych/Mental Health NP Upon Hire or
• Required: WHNP - Womans Health Nurse Pract. Upon Hire or
• Required: APNP - Adv Pract Nurse/Prescriptive Upon Hire or
• Required: PA - Physician Assistant Upon Hire or
• Required: Related authorization must be consistent with clinical practice area and patient population. Upon Hire and
• Required: BLS - Basic Life Support or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and
• Required: MAY BE REQUIRED: Eligible to be granted limited prescriptive authority by the State of Texas.
• Preferred: ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification as required by patient care area. or
• Preferred: PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification as required by patient care area.
