Education
Required: Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in the Arts or Sciences from a JRCNMT or JRCERT program or related field
Experience
Required: one year of clinical experience
Preferred: Imaging experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at M.D. Anderson.
License/Certification
Required:All of the following:
: Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB)' Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist by the Texas Medical Board (TMB).
Preferred:
• ARRT in CT credentials
• NMTCB - PET
• Additional certifications (NMTCB-NCT/ CNMT; ARRT – N/R/T/QM)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
